Well, season over for Real Salt Lake. Bummer. What an amazing game at Rio Tinto stadium Saturday night. There was electricity in the air. It's the closest I've seen to the feel of the game in Portugal. The crowd was into it and on their feet, singing, cheering, chanting, and..booing at the appropriate moments. ;)
It was a balmy 45 degrees at the stadium! But, with the excitement of the crowd, we hardly noticed - until it was over and we couldn't feel our toes!
When it was all over, Real took the loss at the hands of the New York Red Bulls. Real played amazing futbol and we are excited for next year!

About half way through the game, somebody yelled at me from three rows up. It was one of Dallen's sons. He was their with his wife and his brother in law. (The son's wife and brother in law, not Dallens.....) A chance meeting in a sold out stadium of over 20,000!
