It Finally Bloomed!

When we moved into our house 30 years ago, we inherited a number of things. One of them was a plant that, over the years has had good times and not so good times. It has a most interesting bloom, occasionally. It almost looks like it is made of plastic or wax. Because of location, it has not bloomed for the last 15 years.....really. It has really struggled. To be honest, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. However, since we remodeled our south porch and repotted it, it has been doing much better. Then, to her great surprise, about two weeks ago, Annette noticed what looked like the beginnings of a new blossom. Today, it is in full bloom. Only one set of blooms, but a bloom none the less.We are really excited to see it finally begin to bloom again. We weren't even sure what type of plant it is. But, thanks to the Internet, we now know we have a Hoya Fungii.Cool, huh?
